Now Hiring/Boise Idaho: Welder – Day Shift | Starting at $22.00 plus/hr. DOE Full-Time

Are you a skilled welder with experience in heavy steel fabrication? We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Welder to join our team! This is a full-time, day shift position working Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime available based on workload and deadlines.

Job Summary:
As a Welder, you'll be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal components according to blueprints and technical drawings. You’ll use a variety of welding techniques and tools, operate heavy equipment, and contribute to high-quality production in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • AWS & ASME Code Certified (Required)
  • Proficient in Stick and MIG welding
  • Experience in heavy steel fabrication and repair
  • Skilled in line boring, metal fitting, and welding various types of metals
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficient with micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers
  • Comfortable using welders, hand tools, and power tools
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment (e.g., overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks)
  • Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly

Additional Info:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Pay: Starting at $22.00+/hour, depending on experience
  • Drug Test: Pre-employment drug screen required
