Maintenance Technician
Pay: $17.00–$20.00/hr. DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Atlas Staffing is hiring a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team — a global leader in engineered materials and coating solutions for semiconductor applications. What You’ll Do:
- Perform a variety of facility maintenance and small repairs in a manufacturing environment
- Work on and around machinery, including equipment repairs and modifications
- Handle special projects such as construction, framing, drywall, painting, metal cutting, and grinding
- Install and maintain network cables, cameras, plumbing systems (PVC, copper, valves)
- Conduct basic electrical repairs (switches, lighting, etc.)
- Perform fabrication, carpentry, roofing, and occasional vehicle repairs
- Complete safety inspections (checklists, fire extinguisher inspections)
- Operate forklifts, vehicles, and scissor lifts
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal (fluids, oils, coolants, filters)
- Use equipment manuals and OEM-specific training to perform tasks to standard
- Collect machine data for diagnostics and maintenance tracking
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and environmental requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work from verbal/written instructions
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. safely and use lifting assists as needed
- Comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, and stooping
