CNC Operator/Machinist – Swing Shift Open

Location: Spokane Valley WA

Swing Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00PM-11:00PM     

Wage: $20-$24/HR DOE
Temporary: 6 – 8 weeks

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable CNC Operator/Machinist. This role focuses on operating CNC machines by loading and unloading parts with minimal setup requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient machine operation, maintain quality standards, and support production goals. This is a temp position for 6-8 weeks. 

Responsibilities 
•    Load raw materials and unload finished parts from CNC machines.
•    Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent performance and product quality.
•    Perform basic visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, or gauges.
•    Follow work instructions, blueprints, and safety protocols.
•    Communicate any machine issues or irregularities to the CNC Lead or Maintenance team.
•    Maintain a clean and organized work area.
•    Assist with minor machine adjustments as needed (no complex setups required).
•    Record production data and complete job documentation accurately.

Requirements:
•    High school diploma or equivalent.
•    Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment preferred.
•    Basic understanding of CNC machine operation.
•    Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings.
•    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
•    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
•    Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 
•    Two years or more of general machining experience  

Schedule: Monday-Friday 2PM-11PM
Wage: $20-$24/HR DOE
