Join a steel fabrication company known for its high-quality products and large-scale builds. As a Receiving and Distribution Associate, you’ll play a vital role in coordinating shop materials, managing parts inventory, and ensuring accurate, timely movement of components to fabrication teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, precision, and production flow.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and sort incoming cut-to-size steel plate
• Pull parts and stage bins according to bill of materials
• Update inventory and part tracking software using tablet
• Coordinate movement of components to fabrication floor
• Support fitters by ensuring timely delivery of required parts

 Qualifications:

• Ability to read shop drawings and interpret cut lists
• Proficiency with basic math and geometry
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/walk during entire shift
• Basic computer skills and comfort using tablets
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely 

Equipment & Work Environment
• Forklifts and overhead cranes
• Steel fabrication and material handling tools
• Industrial warehouse/shop floor setting
• Frequent lifting, stooping, and movement across work zones
• Safety gear required (steel toes, eye protection, etc.)

 
Wage: $20-$24/hr  DOE

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4am – 2:30pm
