Clean Room Technician
Location: Boise, ID
Pay: $20.00
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Clean Room Technician to support the inspection, cleaning, and packaging of precision machined parts in a controlled environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow strict procedures, and experience working in a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect, clean, and package machined parts in a cleanroom environment
- Perform incoming inspections on parts from external vendors
- Clean parts using approved materials and visually inspect for defects
- Verify cosmetic quality prior to final cleaning and packaging
- Enter serial numbers and job data into ERP systems
- Measure, document, and label refurbished parts accurately
- Perform sanding and prep work on parts as needed
- Create Certificates of Conformance (C of C) using vendor documentation
- Apply heat shrink serialization and ensure proper labeling
- Package parts according to cleanroom standards
- Inspect and assemble cleaning plates
- Maintain daily production tracking boards
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and work instructions
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Experience working with hand tools
- Familiarity with ERP systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and crouch as needed
- Strong visual acuity (close vision, color recognition, depth perception)
