About the Role
Atlas Staffing is looking for a competitive, high-energy Business Development to spearhead our growth in the Boise market. This is a “hunter” role designed for a sales professional who thrives on identifying new opportunities, knocking on doors, and winning new business.
While you will leverage our recruiting team to fulfill orders, you are the primary engine for revenue. You will be consulting with local business leaders to solve their most complex operational challenges through strategic workforce solutions.
What You’ll Do
B2B Sales & Market Growth (Primary Focus)
- Lead Generation: Aggressively prospect, cold call, and conduct field visits to identify new B2B opportunities within the Boise industrial, manufacturing, and professional sectors.
- Consultative Selling: Build relationships with C-suite executives and Operations Managers to understand their pain points and present tailored staffing and MSP solutions.
- Closing & Contract Negotiation: Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract execution and first-order fulfillment.
- Account Expansion: Once a client is won, partner with them to increase our “share of wallet” by introducing additional service lines.
- Market-Driven Sourcing: Partner with the internal recruiting team to ensure they are building pipelines that match the specific needs of your high-priority accounts.
Performance & Brand Representation
- Metrics That Matter: Achieve and exceed aggressive KPIs related to weekly sales meetings, new job orders, and gross profit growth.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent Atlas Staffing at local business associations (Chamber of Commerce, SHRM, etc.) to position the firm as the premier talent partner in Idaho.
- Sales Operations: Maintain a clean and active CRM to track activity and accurately forecast monthly revenue.

- Sales Track Record: 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, industrial sales, or high-volume staffing sales preferred.
- Resilience: A high-activity mindset—you understand that sales is a numbers game and you have the discipline to play it.
- Communication: Ability to pivot from a casual conversation with a warehouse manager to a formal board-room presentation with a CEO.
