Production/ Utility Associate – $16.08 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Consistently follow all safety, GMP, compliance and HAZMAT policies
- Move ink, solvent, pump wash and solvent dampened rags and correctly label drums of each to meet regulatory requirements
- Inventory, replenish and transport reclaimed solvents and pump wash to and from the press and still room
- Accurately operate and maintain the solvent distilling machine and room
- Properly maintain the satellite storage facility, accumulation sites and the final storage area, including fire safety cabinets
- Clean floor, walls and equipment to meet cleanliness needs
- Assist material handlers with movement of raw materials and printed rolls of film to and from each building when needed
- Handle process waste such as plastic film, cores, cardboard, pallets
- Empty and replace Gaylord trash sites in both buildings with accurate weight recording
- Keep warehouse and department organized and tidy. Implement a general housekeeping practice to maintain workplace cleanliness
- Inspect and maintain outside storm drains once per month
- Inspect and maintain the perimeter pest control traps
- All other duties as assigned by manager/ supervisor or as needed to support operations
Salary/ Pay:
- Starting pay at $15.76 with additional shift differential of .32 for swing shift for total hourly pay of 16.08 per hour
Schedule: 2nd shift (please note training will take place on day shift for first week to 2 weeks). All candidates must be willing to stay past shift if there are call outs, must be available to work varying days
Requirements:
- Prefer 1-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent work ethic and dependability
- Able to work overtime as required
- Capacity to adapt to ever changing production environment.
- High school diploma or GED
- Work performed in factory settings
- Exposure to manufacturing environment such as noise, dust and outdoors
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilities
- Must be able to lift light to, moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
