Job description: Industrial Paint Prep Tech -Entry Level Opportunity

Our client is experiencing rapid growth and success and is looking to hire a Paint Prep Tech. We are hiring for both first and second shift, hours below. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity to work for a company that will train and enhance your skills. This is an entry level position with an opportunity to learn and grow. Hourly wage is $19 to start for NO experience and increases depending on experience.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• A Paint Prep Technician’s responsibilities include preparing industrial shredders for painting.
• Individuals must effectively and safely operate sanders, grinders, paint guns, as well as other tools, equipment, and products used in paint operations.
• Paint Prep Technicians must be familiar with the use of paint mixing equipment and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS/PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Worker will be working in a shop setting
• Worker must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Worker must be able to stand throughout duration of their shift
• Must be familiar with and maintain a work environment to meet OSHA safety standards

Wage: $19.00 per hour for entry level and higher for more experience

Shift: We are looking to hire for the following days/shifts:

Day Shift: Monday thru Friday (7am to 3:45pm)

Swing Shift: Monday thru Thursday (possible OT on Fridays) 3:45pm to 2:15am
