You have great attention to detail, like working with your hands and a great attitude! Atlas Staffing is seeking a Material Handler like you! In this role you'll be helping in a distribution center to get products received and shipped in a timely manner!
Responsibilities
- Pick, palletize and wrap freight
- Unload incoming freight
- Check-in and label all freight, ensuring accuracy
- Drive a forklift
- Resolve problems with buyers, vendors, and accounts payable
- Follow safe work procedures and ensure adherence to practice of safety daily
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Maintain shipping and receiving documentation
Salary: $17.00 -$17.00 / hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm
Requirements
- Perform basic mathematics calculations
- Good memorization abilities
- Previous forklift experience
- Accurately enter data into a computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications applicable to the position
- Must be safety conscious
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally lift over 100 lbs.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
