Our client, a leader in manufacturing large material handling and specialized heavy lifting equipment, that offers innovative solutions to a variety of industries is currently adding to their growing team and looking to add a Manual Machinists, to their team.  

We have immediate openings for Manual Machinists 3-5 years’ experience.

• Knowledge and experience running a Horizontal Boring Mill and experience handling and setting up large parts. Running vertical lathes.
• You will be setting up and operating conventional purpose, and numeric control (CNC) machines and machining center to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts.
• Most of our parts are manually machined due to the nature of our customers specifications, this allows them to customize what they want and need.
• This is critical to want/or know how to Manually Machine Manual Machinist

Qualifications:

• Must be able to set up and operate Mills and/or Lathes.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Works with minimal supervision and detailed drawings – must be able to interpret verbal or written instructions.
• Must be able to read blueprints and machine drawings.
• 2+ years setting up and operating: Lathes, horizontal mills, vertical mills a Horizontal
• Experience handling and setting up large parts.
• Experience working with steel and/or heavy metals.
• Work with engineers for tooling specs
• Must be able to work with limited supervision.
• Applicant may be subject to a background check.
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment.

Pay: $24.00 – 30.00 ($1.25 shift diff)

Hours: 2:30pm – 11:00pm
