A large structural steel company located in Phoenix is looking to add talented Production Associates to their team. This is a temp to hire opportunity where you would start off in production, but have the ability to assist welders, fitters, and machine operators. What a great way to pick up extra skills! Upon conversion, benefits include medical, dental, 401K, attendance bonuses, paid bus passes, and PPE vouchers.
Production Associate Responsibilities:
- Assists in the fabrication of metal products
- Loading/unloading and positioning of steel beams
- Loads, transports, metal products by hand or truck
- Cleans work areas, machines, tools, and equipment
- Scraps, cleans and prepares metal products to be welded, painted or fabricated
Production Associate Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in an open shop with varied temperatures
Shifts: 1st shift – 6am – 4:30pm Monday-Thursday
2nd shift: 4:30pm – 3:00am Monday – Thursday
Mandatory overtime on Friday's – shift times will vary
Pay: $16.30 – $18 per hour
shift differential for 2nd shift
