Position: Brake Press Operator
Hourly Wage: $20 – $22
Location: Spokane, WA

Atlas Staffing is hiring a Brake Press Operator for our reputable client in the manufacturing industry. This is a full time, temp to hire position in Spokane Valley, with plenty of opportunity for advancement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide variety of press brake operations, including setups using sheet metal and metal plates into finished product.
  • Perform set up of machines.
  • Loading and unloading, emptying of scrap material.
  • Use a variety of measuring instruments to check and confirm dimensions.
  • Responsible for following all safety procedures.
  • Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.
  • Inspecting and evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be able to read a tape measure
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • At least 1yr of previous brake press experience is preferred

Shift: Mon – Fri 6:00am-2:30pm
Wage: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
