Atlas Staffing is searching for a MIG Welder for a great local manufacturing company! If you have 2-3 years of welding experience, an outstanding work ethic and an excellent record of attendance, then we want to work with you! Apply today! 

Welder Responsibilities:

  • Obtain all metal parts in order to assemble containers. 

  • Operate welding machine.

  • Start all necessary work on container and weld together all necessary pieces.

  • Ensure all parts to the container fit together and refurbish older containers as needed. After completing welding, use grinder to smooth down all sharp or rough edges. 

  • Operate forklift as needed.

  • Perform special projects for shop foreman and other management team members.

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Welder Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Welding certifications are preferred, but not required. 

  • 2-3 years of MIG welding experience required. 

  • Proficiency interpreting blueprints and schematics. 

  • Forklift experience. 

  • Ability to provide the following tools: 12in crescent wrench, 25ft tape measurer, metal hammer. 

Welder Physical Requirements:

  • Lift, carry, push and/or pull 50-75 lbs.

  • Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward. 

  • Sit, stand and walk for 10 hours per day.

  • Ability to work in a 55 – 88-degree Fahrenheit work environment.

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM 

Wage: $21.50/hr.
