Do you enjoy education and assisting students in achieving their higher education goals? We have a great opportunity with a private health sciences University in Yakima for an Administrative Coordinator.

General Daily Requirements:

  • Responding to Emails
  • Scheduling appointment 
  • Tracking and submitting expenses
  • Tracking students’ participation in Diversity Program
  • Create spreadsheets for above work
  • Attending required meetings and taking minutes
  • Scheduling re-occurring meetings
  • Assist in updating spreadsheets for the ODEIB strategic plan

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Duration: temp assignment
Education Requirements: 
Required:  Associate degree
Experience Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of administrative support experience or in a comparable position
  • Awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion matters in higher education
  • Demonstrated high skill level competence of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, Teams, Project Management)
  • Experience in conceptualizing goals; ability to direct and prioritize projects
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, tact, poise and the ability to handle complex, confidential issues with discretion
  • Demonstrated skill to developing and publishing materials for board reports, community reports and general dissemination
  • Demonstrated skill in the area of website management and social media

  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with faculty, students, administrators, alumni, and the University community
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and effectively within a fast-paced environment, plus the ability to manage schedules and competing demands while remaining flexible, proactive, and resourceful
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, problem solve; can work well both independently and in team-based settings
