 Responsibilities:

• Performs regular spot checks on all operators’ work to ensure parts are being fabricated in the correct order of production needs.
• Checking cutlist records and schedule software to ensure timely delivery of required parts to fabrication bays.
• Competent blueprint reading
• Ability to setup, operate and troubleshoot a variety of CNC machines including plasma burn tables, press break, angle line, plasma coping machines, saw / drill line etc..
• Provides continual training to operators to ensure understanding of processes and procedures.
• Works with Foreman to schedule production priorities.
• Keeps track of inventory and ensures stock is recorded by operators properly.
• Completes daily hand-offs and direction to swing shift.
• Determine root cause analysis for machine problems.
• Regularly communicates/coordinates with multiple departments to meet production needs.

• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot and report problems to maintenance department.
• Ability to read and interpret work from sketches, blueprints and cutlists.  
• Must possess a sense of urgency and ability to redirect as production needs change in a quick manner.
• Able to work well independently and as a team.
• Must be self-starter able to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot and report problems to maintenance department.
• Ability to read and interpret work from sketches, blueprints and cutlists.  
• Must possess a sense of urgency and ability to redirect as production needs change in a quick manner.
• Able to work well independently and as a team.

Wage: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:45am – 3:15pm Some overtime on Friday
