Objective:
Provide maintenance and hands-on support for grounds and building repairs, including systems such as HVAC, air compressors, fire suppression systems, and other facility-related equipment.
Requirements:

Electrical and Mechanical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment maintenance.

Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and repair building equipment and facility issues quickly to avoid facility disruption.

General Carpentry: Handling minor repairs and maintenance of drywall, floors, walls, and ceilings.

Handheld Tools: Proficient in selecting and using the appropriate handheld power tools for each task, ensuring safe and effective operation while following safety guidelines and best practices.

Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to minimize disruption to production.

Communication: Coordination with site management team to ensure minimal impact on operations during maintenance and repairs.

Attention to Detail: The ability to thoroughly focus on and accurately complete tasks by noticing even the smallest elements or inconsistencies. This skill involves careful observation, precision, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while minimizing errors.

Self-Motivated: Capable of driving tasks forward independently while maintaining professionalism, proactively resolving potential issues without the need for constant supervision.

Thrives in a Team Environment: Collaborates effectively with colleagues and contractors. Open to feedback and suggestions. Works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, keeping them informed of facility concerns and seeks guidance when needed.
Physical Requirements:
While carrying out the responsibilities of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use their hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, reach with their arms, and engage in conversation and listening. The employee must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. as needed. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes and frequently exposed to airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, and on occasion, outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Wage: $20.00/hr.
