We are seeking a proactive IT Network Specialist with 3 years of experience with edge security devices, especially Cisco Meraki SD-WAN, to ensure the security, stability, and seamless operation of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a stable and consistent work history, demonstrating dedication, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining network uptime, managing storage systems, and supporting our organization’s IT needs. By overseeing essential network functions, you’ll contribute to the smooth daily operations that directly support our employees’ journey toward rehabilitation and empowerment.
This is an in-office role located in Boise, ID. Not remote.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Network Uptime: Monitor and sustain network connectivity, ensuring minimal downtime or disruptions to mission-critical operations.
• Manage Network-Attached Storage (NAS): Oversee the continuous operation of Pure Storage NAS and Meraki SD-WAN systems, essential to our daily business activities.
• Oversee Storage Replication: Ensure business continuity by managing storage replication processes.
• Edge Security Management: Administer and protect the network with edge security devices, such as Meraki SD-WAN, to safeguard against external threats.
• Windows Server VM Administration: Manage and update Windows Server virtual machines (VMs) to ensure efficiency and collaborate with the team for smooth VM handoff.
• Vendor Management: Serve as the primary liaison for vendors like Pure Storage and Cisco Meraki, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of network infrastructure and storage systems.
• Familiarity with Windows Server administration and virtualization technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network and storage issues.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience using network management and monitoring tools.
• Exposure to NAS, specifically Pure Storage.
• Familiarity with edge security devices, especially Cisco Meraki SD-WAN.
• Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
