Atlas Staffing is seeking a Decanter Technician to work in a warehouse/production line environment. Do you have open availability? We are seeking a reliable candidate for a client in Selah, WA!

Pay: $DOE.

Shift: Mon-Fri (weekend if needed) 

Must be flexible with all shifts (end time fluctuates based on production)

Day, Swing, and Grave

Responsible for treating pressed juice with enzymes, decanting pressed juice, and coordinating juice flow in the filter room. Maintain rewet and waste elimination systems. Maintain temperature, brix, solids, and pectin specifications. Maintain throughputs. 

Responsibilities:

• Operate the Decanter to Achieve Optimal Performance
• Treat the Appropriate Tanks Correctly
• Maintain Temperature, Brix, Solids, and Pectin/Starch Specifications
• Monitor Juice Flows and Tank Levels
• Monitor Rewet System
• Communicate with Team Members
• Maintain a Clean, Safe Work Area
• Communicate Effectively
• Maintain GMPs

Education:

• High school diploma or (GED).  
• Six months to one year of position-related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Machine Operating 1-2 years  

Language Skills: 

• Ability to read a limited number of two and three-syllable words, and to recognize similarities and differences 

between words and a series of numbers.  

• Ability to communicate in English.  

• Ability to write simple correspondence  

• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other 

employees.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and 

decimals.  

• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.  

• Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs. 

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Statistical Process Control (SPC) 

Technological Requirements:  

• GMP training and understanding of standards  

• HAZCOM/HAZCAT training  

• MSDS
