Atlas Staffing is seeking an Applesauce Technician to work in a warehouse/production line environment. Do you have open availability? We are seeking a reliable candidate for a client in Selah, WA!

Pay: $DOE.

Shift: Mon-Fri (weekend if needed) 

Must be flexible with all shifts (end time fluctuates based on production)

Day, Swing, and Grave

Responsible to operate the applesauce processing equipment to provide quality product that meets customer specifications to the packaging lines.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and CIP the System
• Prepare the Applesauce Processing Area for Production
• Complete Paperwork Accurately and Turn In on Time
• Perform Production Checks on Sauce
• Maintain Safe and Proper Operation of Equipment
• Operate a Forklift as Required
• Communicate Effectively
• Maintain GMPs

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or (GED).  
• Six months to one year of position-related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Machine Operating 1-2 years  
• Forklift Operator 1-2 years

Language Skills: 

• Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words, and to recognize similarities and differences between words and a series of numbers
• Ability to communicate in English.  
• Ability to write simple correspondence  
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, other employees.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.  
• Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs. 

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Statistical Process Control (SPC) 

Technological Requirements:  

• GMP-training and understanding of standards 
• HAZCOM/ HAZCAT Training 
• Record Keeping 
• MSDS
