Atlas Staffing is hiring a CNC Shop Supervisor for our client who is a manufacturer of parts for aerospace, bioscience, mining and recreation. This is a great temp-to-hire position located in Hayden, Idaho. Apply now to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
The ideal candidate for this role must be a go-getter that has CNC mill machining with set-up experience. You must be able to take direction from the shop manager and relay this information with great detail to the production team. You must have great communication skills and the ability to direct, help and train production team members to ensure accuracy.
Responsibilities:

Identifies opportunities to improve products or reduce costs.

Determines root causes of failures and recommends changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.

Incorporates new methods and processes to improve existing operations.

Supervises technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative staff, or other engineers.

Troubleshoots new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.

Reviews product designs for manufacturability or completeness.

Trains production personnel in new or existing methods.

Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.

Designs, installs, or troubleshoots manufacturing equipment.

Job Requirements & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred or a 2-year machining course accepted.

Experience: 5-7 years of related experience; CNC operation and production with an eye for detail and workmanship is required.

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM-7:00 PM (training on day shift)
Wage: $25.00-$28.00/hr. DOE
