Atlas Staffing is seeking a full-time Non-CDL Driver for an excellent company in the manufacturing industry. This temp-to-hire role is based in Greenacres, WA. Don’t miss this great opportunity—apply now!

Objective: Delivers materials to job site, inspects and maintains truck, reports shortages and claims to supervisor. Non CDL driver but may require some certification depending on state law.

Responsibilities:
1. Checks orders for accuracy.
2. Organizes and secures load.
3. Obtains approval on all loads from supervisor for proper count and conditions of load.
4. Assists in maintaining good housekeeping in yard and warehouse.
5. Assists forklift operators when loading.
6. Accounts for all company funds, such as C.O.D.’s.
7. Delivers and unloads materials to customer‘s satisfaction.
8. Follows guidelines from supervisor.
9. Completes daily equipment inspection.
10. Records all merchandise that is returned by truck.

Basic Functions:
1. Completes necessary paperwork such as delivery tickets and credit slips.
2. Logs in deliveries on Assistant Material Manager’s log sheet.
3. Waits on customers while truck is being loaded.
4. Assists in unloading material returned for credit.
5. Relays messages sent by customers while on job.
6. Assists supervisor, other employees and other work areas, as assigned.).

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Minimum education required: High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
2. Minimum experience required: 2 years experience driving trucks, prefer lumber dumping experience.
3. Special skills required: Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms.
4. Communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills. Knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques.
5. Medical DOT Card, current driver's license and clean driving record. 

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm (or until the route is done, may require OT)

Wage: $19.00-$19.00/hr.
