Atlas Staffing is hiring a Senior CNC Machinist / Programmer for one of our clients in Spokane Valley, Washington. This is a great opportunity that can be either Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire, depending on the experience that you bring. Apply now to learn more about this exciting opportunity! 

The ideal candidate for this role must be a self-starter that has solid CNC mill & lathe machining experience, as well as the ability to set up and program the machines. You must be a great communicator, and bring a great attitude to work as you may have the opportunity to eventually lead and mentor others.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages various equipment such as CNC mills, lathes, waterjets, and other machinery

  • Manages and operates a Fanuc Robot critical for manufacturing specific parts

  • Develops CNC programs from solid CAD files

  • Ensures all manufactured products meet required specifications

  • Creates new processes to increase efficiency, and implements new equipment when necessary

  • Collaborates with the engineering and marketing team

  • Manages inventory and orders materials when needed through their MRP system

 
Job Requirements & Skills:

  • Strong aptitude with computers

  • Experience setting up and programming CNC mills and lathes from 3D CAD

  • 5-10 years of related experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Ability to solve complex problems

Shift: 

  • Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

  • For the right candidate, there is opportunity to work a 5×8 schedule on a day shift, or a 4×10 schedule on a swing shift

Wage: $29.00-$38.00/hr. DOE
