Business Development Coordinator (Inside Sales & Sales Support)
Location: Glendale, Arizona
Compensation: $65k to $80k DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional evenings/weekends & travel required)

Join our growing team as a Business Development Coordinator, where you’ll support inside sales, strengthen customer relationships, and play a key role in food show execution and brand visibility across Arizona. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Food Service and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-driven environment.
Role Overview
The Business Development Coordinator will drive lead generation, qualify prospects, support customer engagement, and help optimize our distributor presence. You’ll support outside sales through inbound customer service, food show participation, CRM management, and coordination of sample kits and marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inside Sales & Customer Support
- Respond to all inbound inquiries via phone, email, and website with professionalism and brand alignment.
- Address customer service issues promptly and with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issues in CRM.
2. Sales Support & Brand Representation
- Assist with food shows, customer samplings, distributor meetings, and ride-alongs.
- Coordinate logistics for all sales events including sample shipments and marketing materials.
- Travel within Arizona to support sales efforts as needed.
3. Sample Kit & Inventory Management
- Oversee DOT sample kit inventory and readiness.
- Manage direct sample shipments and track effectiveness with follow-up.
- Ensure precise and timely execution of sample-related tasks.
4. CRM & Lead Management
- Support CRM data entry, lead tracking, follow-up schedules, and reporting.
- Assist with email marketing efforts and campaign follow-up using tools like Constant Contact.
- Maintain steady communication with prospects and existing customers.
5. Distributor Portal Management
- Ensure accurate product details, images, and promotional materials across distributor websites.
- Proactively manage updates to reflect current product offerings and availability.
- Monitor and enhance our digital shelf presence.

- Lead response time and conversion rates
- Customer service resolution and satisfaction
- Timely and accurate sample shipments
- CRM task completion and data accuracy
- Distributor portal accuracy and content quality
- Food show execution and event feedback
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
- Inside sales or customer service experience (B2B preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Confident negotiator with a proactive, self-starter mindset
- CRM proficiency and familiarity with sales support tools
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Ability to coordinate between departments and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
Education
- Associate degree or equivalent college coursework required
