Atlas Staffing is hiring a Machine Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturer in the Spokane area! This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with significant potential for long-term career growth. Machine Maintenance Technician
Location: Spokane, WA
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–7:00 PM
Pay: $23.00–$28.00/hr DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Maintain and repair pneumatic metal roll formers, polishing lathes, and hydraulic presses
- Assist with machine setup, including registering new equipment and scheduling maintenance
- Record maintenance activity in the company’s electronic system (basic computer skills required)
- Occasionally assist with electrical work (wiring 110–240V, 30A, and 3-phase)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (tools provided)
- Support other maintenance tasks as needed and collaborate with the Machine Shop and Engineering departments
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with tools used in electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and take direction
- Basic math and computer proficiency
- Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
