Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving Assistant
Location: South Phoenix
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $18.00 to $20.00/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire

A leading manufacturer of sheet metal panel products in South Phoenix is seeking a reliable Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving Assistant to join their team! This temp-to-hire position offers long-term stability and excellent benefits upon permanent hire.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving
- Load and unload trucks while inspecting for damage
- Ensure accurate documentation: shippers, delivery receipts, and purchase orders
- Photograph all outbound loads
- Verify incoming materials and communicate any discrepancies or damages
- Tag and locate materials properly for production and shipping
Material Management
- Pull and package orders daily for shipment
- Maintain organized stock and staging areas
- Support production by relocating materials and restocking as needed
- Help maintain an orderly and clean yard and shop floor
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and material restacking
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in material handling, shipping, and receiving
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with inventory and warehouse documentation
- Forklift experience is a plus
