Manufacturing Associate – South Phoenix
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $19.00/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Atlas Staffing is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for a well-established sheet metal panel manufacturer located in South Phoenix. This is a hands-on role offering variety and cross-training across departments. As a floater on the production floor, no two days will be the same—perfect for someone who enjoys learning and staying active throughout the day. Great benefits available upon conversion!
Key Responsibilities:
- Package metal panels and prepare materials for shipment
- Use hand and power tools to build custom pallets
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Pull and verify orders, assist with receiving and inventory
- Unwrap, inspect, and clean coated metal products
- Feed product onto conveyors for bagging and sublimation
- Remove seams and ensure proper sealing of bags for the baking process
- Load/unload trolleys into ovens, remove bags, and stack finished product
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or construction
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and saws
- Forklift operation experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
