Machine Operator / Inspector (Forklift Experience Preferred)
Union Gap, WA | $18.00 plus shift differential for Graveyard shift
Full-Time Day shift and Graveyard shift available
12 hour shifts: Will require working weekends
- 6:45am to 7:15pm
- 6:45pm to 7:15am
PPE: Must have steel toe shoes to start job
We’re hiring a Machine Operator / Inspector to join a fast-paced, team-oriented production facility in Union Gap, WA. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in a long-term role with a stable company. Forklift experience is a plus!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operate manufacturing equipment according to safety and quality guidelines.
- Inspect finished parts for defects such as blemishes, warping, or burn marks.
- Assemble product components like feet, plugs, and card holders per work instructions.
- Perform embossing when required—ensuring a clean and quality stamp.
- Use a forklift to safely move and transport inventory and finished product.
- Stack, package, and label products per supervisor direction.
- Assist with minor machine maintenance and mold lubrication.
- Train new or temporary team members when requested.
- Maintain a clean work area and report safety concerns promptly.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting (plastics experience a plus!)
- Basic mechanical and math skills.
- Forklift certification or experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable using basic computer systems.
- Willingness to adapt to changing workloads or priorities.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing floor with exposure to noise, heat, dust, grease, and oil.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 100 lbs.
- Must wear appropriate PPE (provided).
- Flexible schedule with potential overtime, weekends, or holiday shifts.
