Purchasing Specialist (Temporary for approx. 6 months)
Pay: $19.00 – $23.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, 1-hour lunch
Location: Boise ID
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Experienced Purchasing Specialist to support our operations team. This role involves processing supply orders, managing inventory, supporting internal and external clients, and collaborating across departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Process sales and purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
- Track inventory and manage resources for timely, cost-effective purchasing.
- Communicate with clients regarding orders and resolve issues as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and maintain compliance.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support operations.
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: 2+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable navigating multiple systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in operations or purchasing is a strong plus.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who can “hit the ground running” and ensure seamless purchasing and inventory processes.
