Packaging Associate / General Labor – Food Processing Plant (Nampa, ID)
We are looking for a dependable and hard-working Packaging Associate / General Laborer to join our team at our food processing facility in Nampa, Idaho. In this role, you will help ensure our products meet quality and safety standards while supporting efficient production and packaging processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet production efficiency goals while maintaining high product quality.
  • Ensure food products are properly sealed and placed into correct containers.
  • Prepare appropriate packaging materials and boxes.
  • Load and operate machinery at set speeds with minimal downtime.
  • Accurately complete required CCP (Critical Control Point) checks and production paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work cooperatively with team members to support a smooth workflow.
  • Weigh food products accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Perform sanitation tasks as assigned.
  • Use and handle chemicals correctly, including referencing and understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in general labor, cleaning, chemical handling, or food production is a plus.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards is preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with the ability to also work independently.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and sanitation practices.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Committed to workplace safety and proper use of safety equipment and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for 10–12 hours per shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in a cold, wet, noisy, and damp environment.

Shift Details:

  • Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM
  • Must be flexible and available for overtime and weekend work as needed. Overtime may be required with little notice.
