Packaging Associate
Location: Nampa ID
Wage: $19.28/hr

Hours/Shifts Available – Must be available to work any day of the week. Days off will vary during the week.

Overview:
We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Associate to join a production team. This role is responsible for ensuring that finished products meet quality standards, are correctly labeled, and that all packaging processes run efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, works well in a team environment, and is committed to maintaining product quality and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain production efficiency while ensuring products meet high quality standards.
• Verify cheese products are properly sealed and placed into correct containers.
• Prepare and label packaging materials accurately for daily production.
• Load and operate packaging machines at designated speeds with minimal downtime.
• Complete all required line operation and quality paperwork accurately.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain smooth workflow.
• Weigh and record product weights as required.
• Perform sanitation and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Report any issues or concerns to the on-duty supervisor promptly.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
• Follow proper procedures for chemical use, including referencing Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience:

• Previous packaging or production experience preferred.
• Experience with general cleaning and chemical handling is a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Works well both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and production sanitation procedures.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
• Ability to lift 20–75 lbs as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety protocols.
• Ability to interact and work cooperatively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
