Job Title: Experienced Structural Steel Estimator
Location: Airway Heights, WA (On-site)
Pay Range: $28.00–$34.00 per hour, depending on experience
Position Overview:
An established structural steel fabrication company in Airway Heights, WA is seeking an Experienced Structural Steel Estimator to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of estimating experience in the structural steel industry and a strong understanding of project specifications, take-offs, and cost analysis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, motivated, and eager to contribute to successful construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Perform material take-offs and quantity surveys for labor and materials.
- Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and Tekla Powerfab to assist in estimation.
- Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and team members to ensure timely and precise project bids.
- Identify risks and recommend proactive solutions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the bidding process.
- Maintain flexibility to meet bid deadlines, including early morning or late evening work as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural steel estimating, take-offs, or related fields.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to read and interpret contract documents and technical drawings.
- Experience with Bluebeam and Tekla Powerfab preferred.

Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM (subject to change based on project needs).
