Machine Support Technician
Work Location: Boise ID
Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Wage: 25.00/hr
Position Overview
The Machine Support Technician plays a key role in supporting production operations, working directly under the Manager and in collaboration with shop leads. This position helps maintain smooth workflow from raw materials to finished products, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the production process.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have previous production, machine shop or manufacturing experience
- Basic understanding of safety practices in a production environment
- Working knowledge of production flow and basic machining processes
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Willingness to learn CNC machining and blueprint reading
- Understanding of precision measuring tools and equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods, including in large wash bay areas
- Must have previous production, machine shop or manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements and Expectations
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for most of the shift
- Ability to reach, stoop, twist, kneel, and crouch as needed
