Atlas Staffing is hiring an experienced Equipment Detailer for our premier manufacturing client in Post Falls, ID.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with automotive or equipment detailing experience to take on a key role ensuring all finished products look pristine. You’ll be responsible for the final polish on large, impressive heavy-duty equipment, making it ready for the customer.
Shift: Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM and Friday: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Pay
- $20.00 – $23.00 per hour, DOE
Job Summary
As the Equipment Detailer, you will be responsible for the complete interior and exterior cleaning, polishing, and paint touch-up of large-scale equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong eye for detail to ensure every truck that leaves the facility is visually appealing and meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform exterior cleaning, including pressure washing, drying, polishing, and waxing the cab and body.
- Remove all dirt, grime, and contaminants from the paint to enhance its shine and protect it.
- Conduct interior cleaning, including vacuuming upholstery, cleaning vinyl surfaces, wiping down dashboards, and cleaning all windows.
- Perform specialized detailing tasks like paint correction, scratch removal, and applying protective coatings.
- Inspect finished trucks for any damage or defects in the paint or finish.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage the inventory of detailing supplies.
Qualifications
- One (1) or more years of practical experience in automotive, RV, or heavy equipment detailing.
- Must be highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
