Atlas Staffing is hiring a detail-oriented Purchasing & Accounting Assistant for a manufacturing company in Spokane Valley, WA.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong computer skills and a background in purchasing or accounts payable to join a stable team. You'll start by assisting with purchasing and ERP data entry, with the potential to expand into more accounting duties as you grow in the role.

Job Summary

The Purchasing & Accounting Assistant provides critical support to the operations and finance teams. You will be responsible for entering data into the ERP system, assisting with purchasing orders, and supporting the accounts payable process. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to navigate computer systems with ease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation and processing of purchase orders.

  • Perform accurate data entry into the company's ERP system.

  • Support the Accounts Payable (A/P) department by verifying invoices and preparing them for payment.

  • Maintain organized records of purchasing and financial transactions.

  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve minor discrepancies.

  • Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience in purchasing, accounts payable, or a similar administrative role is preferred.

  • Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency with data entry and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with ERP systems is a big plus.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.

  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.

Available Shifts

  • Monday – Friday

  • Flexible Start Time: Between 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM

  • End Time: Between 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
