Accounting Specialist (Entry-Level to Early Mid-Level)
Atlas Staffing is hiring an Accounting Specialist for a stable, well-established manufacturing and technology organization in Liberty Lake, WA. Great fit for someone with a solid accounting foundation who wants broad exposure and room to grow.

Job Summary
This role supports day-to-day accounting operations across AP, AR, payroll-related entries, and general ledger work. You will help keep financial processes accurate, compliant, and moving on time, especially during month-end close.
What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

Process and review vendor invoices, including 3-way matching

Support customer invoicing, payment application, and basic collections follow-up

Prepare and post journal entries, including payroll-related entries

Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with month-end close

Maintain vendor and customer records, including W-9s and verifications

Assist with prepaid expense tracking and amortization

Prepare weekly or scheduled payments, checks, ACH, or wires

Support internal and external audits by pulling documentation

Partner with HR, finance, and operations on accounting-related needs
What We’re Looking For

2+ years of professional accounting experience

Proficient in Excel and Office 365

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience preferred

ERP or accounting system experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines

Clear communicator who works well independently and with a team
Schedule, Pay, and Location

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
-
Pay Range: $54,080 – $62,400 per year ($26.00 – $30.00)
