Forklift Operator – Swing Shift
Pay: $20.00/hour DOE
Location: Wapato WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Overtime (12-hour shifts) and weekends may be required during busy season
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently move materials throughout a warehouse and production facility. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials and products are in the right place at the right time to support smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks; sort bins and stage materials for production
- Document incoming and outgoing shipments
- Transport incoming materials to designated storage or production areas
- Label and prepare loads for shipment
- Perform inventory counts on fruit products and plant supplies
- Introduce raw materials into production and manage empty fruit bins
- Operate forklifts safely while maintaining a courteous driving attitude
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of forklift operating experience
- Ability to pass a forklift certification test
