Atlas Staffing is hiring an Assembly Technician for a busy industrial manufacturing operation in Boise, Idaho. This is a hands-on role focused on product assembly, material prep, shipping support, and keeping production moving safely and efficiently.
Role Purpose
This role supports the build process for industrial heating products by preparing materials, assembling components, packaging finished goods, and assisting across the shop as needed within clearly defined production tasks. It is a good fit for someone who likes hands-on work, can read measurements accurately, and wants to grow in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Read and use a measuring tape for production work
- Assemble industrial heating products to production specifications
- Cut stainless steel and titanium tubing
- Deburr cut materials to prepare them for assembly
- Use hand tools, power tools, and air tools safely
- Build shipping crates for finished products
- Box completed products for shipment
- Support shipping and receiving activities
- Assist production team members with shop workflow
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- Ability to accurately read a measuring tape
- Comfortable learning new tools and production processes
- Able to use hand tools and shop equipment safely
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work in a team environment
Pay
$18.00/hr
Available Shifts
Monday to Friday
8:00am – 4:30pm
