Shop Helper (Part-Time)
Location: Boise, ID
Schedule: Part-Time (Flexible Day shift Hours)
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00/hr
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Shop Helper to support daily operations in a fast-paced shop environment. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, assisting with production tasks, and helping maintain an organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble crates for shipping purposes
- Assist with packaging and preparing orders for shipment
- Perform general shop cleaning and maintain a safe, organized work area
- Cut and deburr metal tubing according to specifications
- Cut ceramic materials as needed
- Support miscellaneous shop tasks and production needs
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous shop, warehouse, or labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, physical environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
