Summary
Atlas Staffing is hiring an Assembly Technician for a manufacturing company in Nampa, Idaho. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building, assembling, and working with tools to help create quality finished products in a shop environment.
Role Purpose
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling and installing signage components with accuracy and efficiency. This person helps maintain production quality, stay on schedule, and support a safe, organized work area.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and specification manuals
- Assemble signage components based on job requirements
- Install piping, fixtures, wiring, and electrical components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and rivet guns during assembly
- Operate basic metalworking equipment to fabricate parts as needed
- Assemble and install electrical and LED sign components
- Secure parts and attach hardware accurately
- Follow all shop safety procedures
- Maintain quality standards while meeting production timelines
- Support a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Basic mechanical or electrical assembly experience preferred
Pay
$18.00 to $19.00 per hour DOE
Available Shifts
Monday to Friday
6:00am to 2:30pm
