Atlas Staffing is hiring for a Process Engineer for a reputable manufacturing company located in Liberty Lake!
Summary:
The Process Engineer is responsible for new product start up and development of robust, repeatable processes, troubleshooting existing molding processes and secondary processes; documentation of corrective actions regarding finished parts and process optimization activities.
Responsibilities
- Identify process improvements to enhance quality and reduce waste
- Respond to corrective actions, ensure root cause resolution and follow-up
- Monitor job performance and recommend BOM updates
- Provide technical support and training to production teams
- Track key jobs related to RMAs, customer issues, and cost variances
- Document and implement process improvements
- Support new product development and material evaluations
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and automation
- Perform DOE and process window studies
- Develop tracking tools for data collection
- Troubleshoot production issues to improve quality and reduce scrap
- Ensure inspection standards and documentation compliance
- Follow company policies, quality standards, and safety practices
- Maintain professional relationships with team members, customers, and suppliers
- Maintain a positive outlook and treat co-workers with respect and professionalism
- Demonstrate safe work habits
- Embrace company vision, core values, and quality standards
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with injection molding processing.
- Strong knowledge of decoupled molding, mold construction, and safe practices
- Experience with Lean concepts (5S, One-Piece Flow) and gas assist molding
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing equipment
- Proficient with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and shop equipment
- Strong documentation and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of materials, machine operations, and processing methods
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with a strong focus on quality
- Forklift certification preferred
Wage: $25-$33/HR DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
