Summary
Atlas Staffing is hiring General Production Operators for a manufacturing company in Spokane Valley, WA. This is a full-time production role supporting deburring wheels, with possible cross-training on spinning lathes and press brakes.
This role is expected to start ASAP and requires reliable attendance, appropriate work clothing, and the ability to work in a hot indoor production environment.
Role Purpose
The General Production Operator will support daily production by deburring, cleaning, counting, stacking, and moving parts. This position requires consistent attendance, physical stamina, and the ability to read and understand English work orders and BOMs.
Responsibilities
- Operate deburring wheels and support part-finishing work
- Assist with basic machine operation, including spinning lathes and press brakes as needed
- Deburr, clean, count, stack, and move parts throughout the work area
- Stand for the full shift while bending, lifting, and moving materials
- Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Work safely in a hot indoor production environment
- Follow written work orders, BOMs, and production instructions in English
- Maintain a clean work area, including occasional restroom cleaning as assigned
- Submit accurate timecards on Mondays
- Schedule CO/PO appointments outside of assigned shift hours
Qualifications
- Must be able to start ASAP
- Must be able to work a minimum of 48 hours per week
- Must be reliable and show up on time for scheduled shifts
- Must be able to read and understand English for work orders and BOMs
- Must be able to stand all day, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and move parts
- Previous production, manufacturing, machine operation, or hand-tool experience is helpful
- Must wear appropriate work clothing
Pay
$18.00 per hour
Pay is subject to change and should be verified before placement.
Available Shifts
Production, Day Shift
Wednesday through Monday
6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
This is expected to be a 48-hour-per-week position for a minimum of the next 3 months. Required overtime will be on Saturdays.
