Summary
Atlas Staffing is hiring an Assembly Technician for a growing manufacturing company in Nampa, ID. This is a hands-on role where you’ll assemble and install signage components using tools, blueprints, and mechanical assembly skills.
Role Purpose
The Assembly Technician supports production by building, assembling, and installing mechanical, electrical, LED, and signage components. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and wants a steady Monday through Friday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and specification manuals for assembly tasks.
- Assemble and install signage components with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Install piping, fixtures, wiring, electrical parts, LED components, and related hardware.
- Use hand tools, power tools, rivet guns, and measuring tools to secure parts.
- Operate basic metalworking equipment such as milling or grinding machines.
- Inspect work for quality and make sure finished components meet production standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and shop procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or specifications.
- Mechanical or electrical assembly experience preferred.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and high level of integrity.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable with repetitive motion, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling.
Pay
$18 to $19 per hour, depending on experience.
Available Shifts
- Monday through Friday
- 6:00am to 2:30pm
