Atlas is hiring multiple QA Technicians with one of their large Production companies in the Wapato area. This is a Temp-Hire position. Two shifts available! 

Wage: $18.50/hr – $18.50/hr
Schedule: 
2nd shift – Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:30PM
3rd Shift – Monday-Friday 11:00PM-7:30AM

Responsibilities:

  • Raw fruit analysis on all incoming lots. 
  • Calibrate and ensure accuracy of equipment at the beginning of each shift.
  • Notify appropriate person of any deviations in the production from the desired specification.
  • Maintain CIP logs.  Approve cleaning through visual inspections and ATP swabs. 
  • Monitor/verify Critical Control Points according to SunRype HACCP Program.
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any deviation from the CCP and implement and record a corrective action.
  • Assist in additional testing needs as assigned.
  • Keep Laboratory clean and organized throughout shift.
Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry 25pounds,
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift minus breaks and lunch,
  • Must be able to work in hot, humid and/or cold areas,
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination.
  • Knowledge of SDS for lab chemicals.
  • Complete understanding of all required analyses and proper use of lab equipment.
  • Understanding of HACCP programs.
  • Ability to comply with plant GMP and HACCP policies.
