CNC Mill Operator – 5-Axis  
Location: Spokane, WA
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $18–$25/hr. DOE
Industry: Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a modern 5-axis DMG/MORI CNC mill to machine and fabricate a variety of precision components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and part specifications to ensure product quality and accuracy.
• Program and edit G&M code directly at the machine or with provided instructions.
• Perform tool changes and set tool offsets as needed for each job run.
• Monitor machine operation during production runs and make adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve common machining issues independently.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience operating CNC milling machines is required
• 5-axis CNC mill experience is preferred
• Proficient in G&M code interpretation and minor editing
• Hands-on experience with tool changes and setting tool offsets
• Strong understanding of tooling: endmills, drills, taps, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Familiarity with inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Career-minded individuals looking for long-term employment

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and reach frequently
• Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours per day)
• Comfortable working in a shop environment between 55–88°F
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, industrial setting
