Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Pay Range: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Spokane WA

We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality steel structures, serving customers across the nation. Our team supports diverse construction and fabrication projects in a fast-paced, safety-focused, and collaborative environment. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong technical and mechanical skills to support equipment maintenance, repair, and facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and repairs on machinery, mechanical systems, and production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair welding machines, metal fabrication equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes, and hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance inspections and minimize equipment downtime by performing repairs during non-peak hours.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized equipment repairs and service.
  • Maintain and repair facility systems including lighting, HVAC, and basic infrastructure.
  • Track maintenance activities using maintenance logs, including documenting root cause analysis, downtime, and repair completion times.
  • Manage and restock repair parts inventory and order replacement parts as needed.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and metalworking tools for various maintenance tasks.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, equipment manuals, electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Skilled in welding, fabrication, and CNC equipment operation (CNC experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Must pass background screening including verification of employment history, education, criminal record, and driving history.
