Job Title: Purchasing Specialist I
Location: Garden City, ID
Pay Range: $19 – $23 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)

We are looking for a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Purchasing Specialist I. This role is key in ensuring smooth operations and top-notch service for both internal and external clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to both internal teams and external clients, ensuring an exceptional experience.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and communication.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, orders, and vendor interactions within our internal systems.

  • Process both sales and purchase orders efficiently.

  • Effectively manage and track inventory to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness.

  • Monitor order progress, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.

  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders, providing timely updates on order status and resolving any delays.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding inventory, purchasing, and data integrity.

  • Support the department manager with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or customer service is preferred.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset to address customer concerns and order discrepancies.

  • Customer service-focused with a professional and proactive attitude.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities.

  • Experience with purchasing or inventory management software, or ERP systems is a plus.
