Job Title: Automotive Technician/Mechanic (Intermediate Level)
Job Type: Direct Hire / Permanent Placement
Pay Range: $26.00 – $33.00/hr (DOE)
Location: Portland OR

We’re recruiting for a skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic with intermediate-level experience for a direct hire opportunity in Portland OR. If you’re experienced in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models, this is your chance to join a growing team with great pay and benefits!

In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing moderate to complex repairs on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems. You’ll work on everything from basic maintenance to advanced diagnostics, ensuring vehicles are in top shape for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and transmission flushes.

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex systems like hydraulics, generators, electrical systems, hybrids, and onboard computers.

  • Conduct repairs on brake systems, tires, suspension, engines, and other vehicle components.

  • Handle diesel and transmission repairs.

  • Collaborate with vendors for parts and additional services.

  • Manage vehicle maintenance records and history.

  • Use diagnostic tools like computers, scanners, and more to troubleshoot and analyze issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 5+ years of experience in vehicle service and repair.

  • Proficiency in using automated shop computers and diagnostic equipment.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • ASE certification is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

    Schedule & Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Overtime opportunities available
