Technical Project Support Specialist (Temporary)
Location: Boise, ID
Pay: $19.00–$22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Number of Openings: 2
Assignment: Temporary, with an undefined timeframe

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Technical Project Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in detecting, analyzing, and resolving software-related issues while minimizing disruptions to customers and business operations. You’ll handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer and internal inquiries via phone and email with personalized, accurate information.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product or service issues remotely, escalating complex cases when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions, including communication, resolution steps, and follow-up actions.
  • Educate customers on effective product or service usage.
  • Manage multiple inquiries efficiently, ensuring timely and high-quality responses.
  • Prioritize urgent cases while maintaining service quality and consistency.
  • Provide up-to-date, accurate information to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical support, sales, etc.) to resolve complex issues.
  • Share insights, feedback, and best practices to improve team performance.
  • Adapt communication style to effectively address a variety of customer scenarios.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
  • A desire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Previous remote support experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with copier RUI is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Basic understanding of general IT concepts, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Adaptability when handling unexpected challenges and shifting priorities.
