Structural Engineer Project Manager – $88,000 to $105,000/year
Location: Remote – West Coast location
Schedule: Full-Time
Join a respected structural engineering firm with over 60 years of experience serving clients across Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and California. As a Structural Engineer Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on a wide variety of mixed-use and podium projects, working primarily with steel-over-concrete structures. Key Responsibilities

Perform structural design calculations for gravity and lateral systems.

Lead the design and documentation of mixed-use and podium projects (steel over concrete).

Develop clear, detailed, and accurate construction documents, plans, and details.

Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance.

Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction.

Collaborate with project engineers while mentoring and guiding their development.

Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team on shared projects.

Maintain proactive communication with internal teams and project stakeholders.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Professional Engineer (P.E.) and Structural Engineer (S.E.) license required.

7+ years of experience in structural design and project management.

Familiarity with IBC, ASCE 7, and wood, steel, concrete, and masonry codes.

Proficient in RISA (design software); experience with RAM and Enercalc preferred.

Knowledge of CAD and Revit is a plus.

Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Demonstrates sound judgment — knows when to ask for help and when to lead with confidence.
