Job Title: Staffing Recruiter
Location: Yakima, WA

Salary: $45,000 – $50,000/yr plus commission

Requirements:

  • Schedule: 7:00am – 5:00pm; requires on-call availability for evenings and weekends to support workforce needs.
  • Language: Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) to effectively recruit and support a diverse candidate pool.

Atlas Staffing is seeking a motivated Staffing Recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about connecting great people with great opportunities. This role focuses on full-cycle recruiting, associate engagement, and client support to ensure successful placements and workforce continuity.

What You’ll Do
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Source, screen, interview, and place candidates for a variety of light industrial, clerical, and skilled positions.
  • Candidate Pipeline Development: Maintain a consistent flow of qualified applicants through job postings, outreach, referrals, and community networking.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews, conduct pre-screening, and match candidates to client requirements and culture.
  • Onboarding Support: Ensure new hires complete all required paperwork, testing, and compliance steps accurately.

Associate Engagement & Retention

  • Primary Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for placed associates regarding assignments, payroll questions, and employment support.

 

  • Retention Efforts: Conduct follow-ups with associates to ensure job satisfaction and minimize turnover.
  • Safety Reinforcement: Communicate safety expectations and job-specific requirements prior to placement.

Client Service & Account Support
Order Fulfillment:

  • Quickly and accurately fill client job orders with qualified candidates.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients to confirm staffing needs, performance feedback, and workforce planning.
  • Problem Resolution: Address attendance issues, performance concerns, and urgent staffing needs promptly.

Compliance & Systems Management

  • Documentation Accuracy: Ensure all hiring documents, background checks, and eligibility verification are compliant and complete.
  • ATS Management: Maintain accurate applicant tracking records, notes, and candidate status updates.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure timely and precise data entry across internal systems.

What We’re Looking For

  • Recruiting Focus: Experience or strong interest in staffing, recruiting, or high-volume hiring environments.
  • Bilingual Communication: Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to explain employment information clearly.
  • Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills with candidates, associates, and clients.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Able to manage multiple job orders and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, and staffing software.
  • Adaptable & Energetic: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
